In addition the hospital provides $2,000 per year in tuition reimbursement for employees continuing their education. The hospital's involvement in the Corporate University (a consortium of local industries and hospitals) provides the rare opportunity to develop team building and management skills on hospital time at hospital cost.

Specialized nursing opportunities include exceptional orientation/internship programs in each clinical area, a clinical ladder, flexible hours, specialty certification differentials and clinical educators on each unit and on second shift. Emergency nurses are very involved in local and national EMS programs. Our hospital was the first Level 2 trauma center in the region and continues to be recognized for excellence in emergency medicine.
